    You can bake cookies in a tree. As you can imagine, it's, uh, dangerous having an oven in an oak tree during the dry season.

    Ok, here's a sort-of recipe:

    Make dough for sugar cookies. Roll it out in a rectangular shape. Spread soft butter over dough. Spinkle sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon on dough. Roll up, like a log. Spread more butter on top of log. Slice and bake at 350 until cookies are golden. Stuff yer face.

    The post title reminds me of when I was a kid and decided the VCR was hungry so I stuffed it with cereal....and then a waffle.

    We just had a valuer come to our house to get an idea of the going price in order to finance our renovations. I had thought he was coming at 10 so did some mowing and then jumped in the shower at 8:45... I then realised that he was actually coming at 9. Cue me opening the door with dripping wet hair and a red face, oops.

    This ELF quote made my night.

     I just got back from food shopping and I'm still waiting to hear from my best friend.  She's been in labor since Friday afternoon (they kept sending her home because she wasn't far enough along) and said she was pretty far along earlier today.  So I'll have a new nephew tonight!

    Oh, and I'm finishing up work for tomorrow :( while waiting for the Walking Dead :).

    ETA: Hope it pans out, Mara!

    Nevermind VCR,I mentioned Beta to my students, they looked at me like I was on crack! These kids are only like 10 years younger than me!
