I get the spirit of what you're trying to do, but I also don't really see the point. Unless you hate your venue and want to gouge them or something. I think getting the types of flowers you like is the most important thing. I'm sure there's some endangered stinkplant in the Amazon that would cost $300 per stem, but again, what's the point?

Well, I don't know about RED roses, but as far as roses go, I think these rank pretty high up there...they're $80/dozen on one website but I'm not sure how accurate that is. Every other source I have says you can only get them overseas.

I love them though.
