So, I have a HUGE interest in other cultures/religion. Examples would be:
I loooooove saris and am dying to either wear one or wear some kind of 'American' wedding dress that has a very similar design and flow (which is proving to be difficult which is why I keep coming back around to wearing an ACTUAL sari).
I believe in, but don't practice religiously, Hinduism/Buddhism/Wiccan etc and would love to incorporate some of those events (my future stepdaughter and her mom are also Wiccan so it's not completely out of nowhere).
Basically, is it OK (considering we are both white, American, etc) for me to wear a sair? My FI is also wearing a traditional Scottish kilt so it's definitely going to be a unique experience.
