Music List Question

How is everyone coming up with their music list? I'm horrible with music. I don't know artists or names of songs. We are having a harp for the ceremony. The harpist is just going to play a few songs for me that I can choose from so that's easy, but what about the grand march? FI wants the Imperial March from Star Wars for our entrance and at this point I'm almost willing to do that because I'm dreading searching for songs. I just don't know where to start and how to pick a song.

Our DJ gave us forms to fill out with what kind of music we want to listen to what we like and what we don't like. I will probably just tell him what we don't want and i trust him enough to leave the rest of it up to him.

We can do our lists online with a msuic library our DJ has set up on what songs they have. Any songs they don't that are "Must Plays" we ca provide by CD.  Our DJ also has tons of lists of most popular songs requested, popular Father/daughter dance etc. and popular songs from each decade starting from 50's right up to 00's and 10's (so last 2 years)

The imperial march? Please don't mention that to FI . He sometimes makes jokes about wearing his Darth Vader shirt to the wedding.

Our DJ will pick most of the music, we might look for some requests but if we don't find any, we don't need to worry. The first dance however... that's not going to be easy. And then we're not talking about the ceremony yet...

My fi came up with our theme for our reception, he picked the 70's so we will have a mixture of 70's with the new music. That way i'm sure everyone will have something to dance to and enjoy themselves.
