Question about seating

We are having our grandparents and parents seated before the bridesmaids walk down the aisle. I am unsure how to do it exactly. Who's grandparents go first? Do our dads sides go first or our moms sides? Also, if you are having ushers seat them, what happens if they are married? I know our grandpas won't want to have a guy hold their arm and walk down the aisle lol. Thank you for the help, i've tried googling this and have found a million different answers.

The bride's mother is always seated last.

Going from that, I would seat them in this order:

    Groom's grandparents
    Bride's grandparents
    Groom's parents
Bride's Mother - escorted by an usher or your father, then your father would come back to escort you  - unless someone else is doing this

I don't know which grandparents, maternal or paternal, should go first.

As for the ushering - when the female is escorted by the usher, the male usually just follows behind them (like when guests are seated).  If the usher is escorting your grandmother, her husband would just walk behind them.

Personally - for our wedding, the only time we have that situation is with the groom's parent's (b/c between the two of us, we only have one grandparent still living).  We are just having groom's dad escort his mom down the aisle, rather than having her with and usher and him following.

You could aslo post this on the etiquette board; they may have the formal advise.
