Need help

I need help, I am from Memphis TN and my FI is from Rhode Island, we both live in RI. I have no clue what to do for a theme. I kind of wanted to pull some of the RI into the wedding for my family. Our colors are Turquoise, grey and navy blue if that helps any. Any ideas for me???

I have never been there. A helpful hit might be to ask the people on that specific board.

I am from RI also but am getting married in CT.  There are a lot of things around here that are specific only to RI like some foods and drinks.  What kind of wedding are you having (casual, outdoors) and where is it?

You could do RI themed welcome baskets for your OOT guests with a map, maybe a small guide to RI, cookies or candy from a local place or maybe a small gift card to a local restaurant.

I am having a full formal wedding at Weekapaug golf course. The ceremony will be down by the water and the reception is going to be in the restaurant there.

If you're getting married in October (which I assume that you are since you posted to this board) I would try to incorporate the fall into your wedding.  I'm getting married in RI in October and while I'm not really having a theme, I am incorporating fall colors into my wedding as well as a lot of rustic elements.  I guess that my theme is 'rustic fall.'

Yes I am getting married in October of next year. The problem with adding fall into my wedding is we are getting married down in Westerly at a golf course so there won't be much fall around us.
