In one week...

I LEAVE FOR MY BACHELORETTE PARTY!!! We are doing a destination Bach party in Nashville, and I"m so excited!!! BUT... after Nashville I'm heading straight to Charlotte to work for a few weeks (nannying) and get ready for the wedding down there... but FI will still be here in Ohio... I'm so excited to go to Nashville, and see all my Charlotte friends, but I'm going to miss FI and my dog sooooooo much... We're going to try and see each other 1/2 way through so that he can bring me our dog (his bach party is the week before the wedding so doggie would need a babysitter). But we've never been a part that long... everyone keeps saying it will make the wedding so special bc we won't have seen one another for a while... ughhhh such mixed emotions and it is all happening so soon...

I am in a similar position as you. Fi and I will still be together, but I'll be working first shift starting next week (7am-3:30pm), and Fi will still be 2nd shift (2pm to 12am). Then, two weekends in July is my Bach party and then the next weekend fis that we are both going away seperately for, so there will be like 2 weeks no contact really. I know its not the same as actually being apart, but I'm pretty anxious about it. I'm just trying to focus on all the things I have to do, and all the people and sunshine I will see working first!
