I don't post a lot but this board has been more than wonderful to me so I like to contribute when I can.Last Saturday I went dress shopping for the 2nd time and brought my mom along. The first stop was Adele's Bridal in Ft. Worth/N. Richland Hills. We got there only to find a closed sign on the door. They are closed until 12/29/09 for relocation. I was not happy about this since I called on Thursday to verify their Saturday hours. The next stop was Elizabeths Bridal in Hurst. The customer service was great. They did have dresses larger than a size 12 which is what I needed. My mom found her dream dress for me, but I did not. The last place we looked was Lang's in Arlington. I had been their on my own a few weeks ago. Their prices on Maggie dresses are a bit cheaper than Elizabeths...FYI.Tomorrow if it does not rain we are going to go to Lewisville Bridal. If I don't find anything there I may consider having Becky Fowler make my dress. We'll see.
