Ok so this is going to sound aweful and maybe I'm just tired of dealing with out of state parents that didn't want to plan the wedding until it's right on top of them. But is anyone else to the stage of wanting to get everything done and over with? I am so sick of trying to get everything done and perfect and worked out that I would rather start planning someone else's wedding than mine! I think money is a big issue and also that my parents don't seem excited at all, like seriously AT ALL! I just can't wait till the big day gets here and hopefully everything will be done!

I am right there with you, not with the parents part but I mean how many times can you read articles and pick things and look at pictures for your wedding, I had to just stop because I started second guessing everything!! And began to drive FI crazy with changing my mind! I have changed our recession song like 4 times and I am still teetering on if it will be the song or not! Oye! Come on August!

I felt that way last week, but I started to put together my invitation and I'm starting to get excited again (and totally paranoid that I mess up the invitations it took me an hour to do 5 of them)

Yeah I would like August to come I just feel like im running out of time and im excited but many are so not very into it. My MOH has basically check out but she hasnt really helped anyways. I have way too much going on and work is going to ramp up in July so now is when I have to get most of it done. Sigh

I felt that way a couple months ago when I got really stressed about picking out bridesmaid dresses.  I had just found it impossible to decide on colors.  Once I made it through that step (and took a vacation with NO wedding planning!) everything has been much more managable.  Try to get everything possible done that you can right now and you may feel much better.  And, once you make a decision on something, stop looking!!  It makes it too easy to 2nd guess yourself!

I have been second guessing everything, even my wedding dress up until last night (1st fitting).

My parents arn't helping me plan... but I get the whole "they don't seem excited" thing. I don't trhink it has anything to do with me or FI though... I just don't think they are the type to get excited about this sort of thing... they had a shotgun wedding themselves. I have a feeling I will get a lot more support and excitement from them when we decide to start a family... they are pushing for a grandkid already. Its like... can we have a second to get married & buy a house firtst? lol

I haven't necessarily been second guessing, but feel as if the wedding plans are on "back burner" so to speak by anyone but myself (even FI doesn't feel into it anymore).. I expressed this to my MOH/sister and my Mom, and they said "but the wedding isn't for months, you have plenty of time"... That didn't help the feeling...  I'm here with you, I want August to be here!!
