Bathroom Baskets done!

So many things getting done!  So glad its summer so I can focus on getting as much wedding done as possible before I start teaching again!  I am super pumped because I just bought all the supplies for my bathroom baskets and made them tonight!  They turned out better than I could have hoped and they did not break the bank and I really think people will appreciate them!

Sure!  I went to dollar tree and bought things I would appreciate to have in case of emergency.  I bought two baskets and tied my color ribbon around them.  Then I bought two frames to type a cute poem in them to put beside them.  This is the poem i'll probably use:

So happy you're here to share in our special day,

but should something happen to go astray.

Please help yourself to the contents within,

Wet wipe, hand lotion, and even aspirin,

Use only what you need and leave the rest,

It may also be useful to another guest,

So repair the damage that may have been done,

Then hurry on back and join in the fun!

For the girls I put in:
Shout wipes
My mom works at Dillards so I got free samples to put in there for guys and girls
tampon
panty liners
make up wipes
q tips
band-aids
Ibuprofen
nail file
brush
lint roller
bobby pins
hair ties
gum
hair spray
wisps
safety pins

For the guys I did:
hair gel
cologne samples
band aids
wisps
gum
Ibuprofen
hand sanitizer
lint roller
brush

Hope that helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.  My dad thought they were ridiculous but I know guests will appreciate my thinking of them.  At least I hope

No, they are actually from my grandma's house, but dollar tree has cute ones, and Michaels always has cute baskets for cheap.  My biggest thing was not to break the bank, and I am a huge dollar tree fanatic!  I feel most of their stuff is quality and only a dollar   I may add a few stuff but they are already pretty full so I may just leave them be.

No its fine! I'm loving all the positive feedback. I had several different sizes that I tried and saw how well everyting fit. I feel like all the items need to be pretty snug or else it would look weird. My basket was 10in. X 6in. and like at the bottom I put panty liners and filled in on top of that trying to make sure most items were seen!

I've been working on mine too. I bought two baskets at dollar store. FYI some travel size products I was able to get less than 1.00 at my local grocery store so watch for sales. Also make sure there is room in the venue bathroom.

I think you just confused me to do bathroom baskets! They look great.

I went to a wedding once and got my period, and didn't have anything with me! I would have loved those tampons so I didn't have to go around to my relatives asking if they had anything! LOL
