I had an appointment to get my veil made with a local seamstress who I know I want to use for my dress also. Well she told me to go ahead and bring my dress in also and we can do some of the alterations to the dress that can be done this early out. So, we started with the veil. We are using my mom's old catherdral veil and cutting it into a fintertip veil and taking lace from my mothers wedding dress to trim the bottom of my veil. I will share pictures when it is all done! I can't wait. Then for the fitting, we will be adding some push up cups into the bra area so that I don't have to wear a bra and then I also will get a little help with the ladies up there. haha Then she is going to do the bustle for my dress. Which will turn out to be about 7 little pick ups in the back. Below is a picture of me with the push up cups just set in the dress and an quick example of what the bustle will look like in the mirror. I am so excited to have this done!! Then I made an appointment for the last fitting where we will just get the top taken in so it stays up a little better and the waste taken in. Other than the the dress will be perfect!
