A few checks! (A few PIP)

Today my FI and I went and signed the contract for our cake yay! We have a lot more done then I thought but here is a picture of what our cake will look like 


Then we also got our cake topper which is a funny one. We have the joke that whenever one of us is being a pain in the butt that we had time to run, so we chose one of the groom running away and the bride holding him by the shoulders (pic below). 


Tonight I am sending FI with a check for the deposit towards catering so that will be checked off tomorrow but I'm including so I don't do a second check post. All that is left for deposits is our DJ which will be hopefully the next week or two.

We couldn't resist doing a funny one. I found it at Michaels for like 13 bucks orginally 20, couldn't pass it up.

Trying to get my FI to pick an idea for the cake was probably harder then it should have been, lol. It was either too plain or too much going on. Then again he has been like that with a lot of things so far. Lucily picking the flavors for the cake tiers was a lot easier then I thought it would be with how picky he is.

I think we are doing a cupcake schmorgazborge (don't really know how to spell that word).  We are going a small cake to cut though and are using the cake topper from his grandparent's wedding.  It is vintage and very special!
