So, I got so much done this weekend, that I couldn't resist my own post instead of the Weekend Updates. Forgive me for being selfish!
I had a 3 1/2 day weekend away from work which helped clear my mind and put me back in planning mode. 12 weeks to go! Check out my checks:
Thursday:
/> Met and booked a florist (which I was not going to have, but found room in budget!!) and put a deposit down. She was the sweetest lady and I'm very excited!
/>Invitations came in, and I LOVE them!!!
Friday:
/> Went shopping with my mom and found her a beautiful MOB dress that is perfect!
/>Shopped for supplies for all my DIY projects. I just bought stuff to do test runs, to make sure they turn out the way I expect.
/> Found FREE vases for my centerpieces in my mom's basement from my sister's weddign taht we thought were tossed!
/> Had a major wedding talk with my parents and money etc. and feel really good about things! They haven't been too involved, but now that its getting closer, it seems like they are more excited!
Saturday:
/> Picked up Fi's wedding ring.
/> Reserved and finalized tuxes.
/> Made a final decision on what my 14 (yes, 14!) nieces and nephews will wear when they escort our mom's down the aisle! We both have HUGE families and didn't want official "FG/RB" so instead allof the grandchildren are escorting the grandmas and they will have coordinating out fits!
Sunday:
/>Spent the ENTIRE day shopping with one of my BMs, who is much more stylish than me, and we found dresses for both of my showers and my bachelorette party! (Actually, we found a rehearsal dinner dress to, but when I got home I didn't like it, so I am returning that one)
/>Also found 5 different necklaces that I am going to try with my dress! AND a Interview Dress- now I just need to land an in person interview!!!
On top of all this, I also got 2 calls for jobs!!! I had a phone interview, and had to take some skills testing for another position. Super excited!
And the weather was SUPER nice! I really feel excited and happy for the first time in a while. With my crappy job and crappy weather I was really down lately. But, now I feel like everything is getting better and I'm in super wedding mode. What a great weekend!!!!! 12 weeks and counting!!!!!
