Nervous for 1st fitting next week...

I ordered my dress in November, I had tried on about 40 dresses at this point... some just for kicks, but just the same a lot of dresses... I loved my dress right away except the neckline, which will be altered... I got the call that it had been delivered on Valentine's Day... great sign!!! But since I live so far from the shoppe, (7 hours... I lived in Charlotte when I purchased) I haven't even SEEN the dress since I purchased it 8 months ago, except for the picture I have of me in it all clipped up!!! I'm so nervous to see it again, what if it doesn't fit right, what if I don't love it anymore... Did everyone feel this way when they saw their dress again? I've had nightmares that the wrong dress was delivered and there won't be enough time to fix it... I'm sure everything will be great and I'll be in love with the dress all over again, just nerves... )

I totally felt this way!!!  I was sick to my stomach about all the things that could go wrong.  But it all melted away as soon as I saw the dress hanging there and slipped into it and it fit like a glove!  All the married women i spoke to said this is such a common feeling!

You will GLOW on your wedding day no matter what. Try not to be too nervous, just look forward to seeing yoursef in a gorgeous dress again!

I felt the same way (should i have ordered the other size, what if the color comes in wrong...)  but once it came in and i went for my fitting i felt great!  for the record, i could have ordered the other size, but it's still doable anyway!

That's natural.  I went to see my dress when the store called to say it was in just to make sure the right one arrived. I am sure you will love it just as much when you have your fitting as when you bought it.  It especially helps to have the shoes, jewelry,etc to see the whole look.

I go for my first dress fitting on friday and Im a big ball of nerves and excitement. I keep wondering if I really made the right choice, will it fit, will I love it as much as the day I bought it. I am also super excited to go try it on again for the first time in a year (I had a june wedding planned at first so started shopping and ended up buying my first outting in july). As the days get closer I am getting more excited than nervous and Im planning and making a day out of it with my mom and aunt who are coming to the fitting.
