Has anyone made their detailed day of timeline yet? Care to share!?

  • We just sat down with the photographer last week and hashed out some of these details. This is what we have so far:  Keep in mind that we are not seeing each other before the wedding.

    7am - Bride and girls up for a morning run (I'm a runner, and it helps me de-stress)
    7:45 - Girls shower and ready at Brides' parents house.
    8am - Guys start their 9 hole golf game.
    9am - Girls Hair and makeup appointments and breakfast with mimosas
    11:30 - Girls hair is done, head to church.
    11:45 - Heavier lunch for girls of Subway platter, fruit, and veggies at the church
    12:00 - Girls start to get ready
    12:30 - Photographer #1 arrives and starts photo's with girls
              - Guys arrive at church, and have Subway sandwiches, fruit and veggies
    1:00 - Guys begin getting ready.
    1:15 - Photographer #2 shows up, and starts with guys.
    2:00 - Grandparents and close family arrive for pictures separately.
    2:30 - Pictures are finished. Guys go to upstairs quarters of church, girls go to downstairs.
    3:00 - Ceremony Starts
    3:45 - Ceremony Finished / Dismiss guests by rows.
    4:00 - Bubble Exit, and get away in car.
    4:15 - Bride and Groom arrive back at church for pictures together.
    4:45 - Leave church for pictures at County Fair (Yes, it may be tacky, but the county fair is only 2 blocks away and there are a lot of "fun" pictures we would like to do there with our wedding party)
    5: 25 - Leave Fair for Reception Hall
    6:00 - Arrive at Reception Hall
    6:15 - Bridal party announced
    6:20 - Bride and Groom cut cake
    6:30 - Dinner is served
    6:50 - Toasts begin (they will do the toasts while people are finishing eating their meal)
    7:00 - Cake is served & Bride and Groom have first dance
    Followed by F/B Dance, and M/G Dance.
    Party the night away....
    12am Midnight - Closing of the reception.
  • 7am: Wake up, eat, shower
    8-10: Bride's hair
    9: BM hair
    10: FMIL hair
    11: Arrive at ceremony venue, start bride's makeup, photographer arrives
    11:45: Get dressed, BM makeup
    12-1pm: First look pictures
    1-2pm: Wedding party and immediate family pictures
    2-3: Eat, relax
    3-3:30: Ceremony
    3:30-3:50: Receiving line
    4-6: Cocktails and music at the reception venue for guests, photos with extended family
    5ish: First dance
    6: Toasts
    6:15: Buffet meal
    7: Cutting the cake
    8ish-12am: Dancing
    12am: Go home...sleep
  • I don't have a timeline....but @brij....I am totally jealous of your fair pics! I think they will be super cute. I want some but the fair will be over by the time our wedding rolls around. We might do a practice session with some friends or the photog while it is still going on though....because our first date was at the fair 10 yrs ago.
  • My timeline is pretty general still but here it is:

    830-9 wake up, shower
    1000-1200 salon for hair and makeup for bride and bridal party, light breakfast and mimosas with bridal party and mom at the salon
    1200 limo takes us for lunch and then drops us off at the venue
    200-300 check into room
    300- get dressed, touch up makeup, get bridal party dressed, photographer take getting ready pics around 330
    430- ceremony
    500- cocktail hour for guests, pictures for bridal party and family
    630- dinner
    930- music stops, guests can disperse and go to rooms to change and head down to campfire
    1000 reception hall closes, campfire starts and goes as long as guests want
