Wedding Programs?

What are you all doing for your wedding programs? I just realized this morning that I haven't even thought about these! I also need to figure out table cards, eek.

I have been looking on a few websites but I am thinking a DIY program would be easier. I don't know, any suggestions/advice?

I'm using a kit from Michaels combined with the template our church gave us. I'm goiing to stamp the front with navy and rose flowers to match our colors.

We are planning to make fan programs, similar to this:

I used Vistaprint for ours- with the coupon, it was seriously cheap- even with the paper upgrade! They have templates, which are pretty helpful too. Programs aren't necessarily needed and I had originally planned to skip it but since we're having a church ceremony, I figured not everyone would know what was going on and it would be a nice keepsake to have. Plus, I think my parents and FILs still expect them and it seemed a silly battle to fight if we could afford the extra expense!

We are DIYing them, but very simply just designing a brochure on a word template, then printing them either at church or at the public school (my Mom and Aunt both work there).

We are making fans just like in the pic mbatzlaff posted. Our church is not air conditioned, and we are planning as if it'll be the hottest day of the summer, so we thought that fans would be perfect!

Thanks everyone! This helps a lot, I will probably be thinking of DIY - ing them after all of your suggestions. I just don't see anything online that jumps out at me and I can easily tie ribbons and print on paper.

If we end up doing them, we'll just do them ourselves. I won't be as concerned with them looking fancy or anything--right now I'm just too focused on other things. I still need to talk to FI about this too, and see what he wants to do.
