This weekend was BUSY! Thursday, I helped FSIL do all the BM and bridal bouquets (silk roses and an assortment of other white and blue flowers) and they look fab! She's decorating a mailbox for us to use for cards at the reception next, and I can't wait to see what it looks like.
I traveled to PA to meet with our DJ on Friday, and FI and I are so excited about the reception. Neither of us is big into dancing, but our DJ seems like he's really got everything under control, so it's nice to not have that to worry about.
Saturday was my bachelorette! My sister/MOH and I went to get a few supplies, then we met the rest of the girls and drove to Baltimore for the day. We went to Inner Harbor, ate at Hard Rock, listened to some live bands, and ended the day with a baseball game-- the Nationals (my favorite!) were in town and my sister got us AMAZING seats! One of my BMs made me an adorable sign that said "She's tying the knot, Gio (my favorite player) this is your last shot!" and Gio LOVED it! I ended up getting to meet him, and he posed for a few pictures with me and gave me a huge hug and a kiss!
Sunday we met with our pastor for our second counseling session. We're doing the Prepare/Enrich program and it seems ok so far. We also went through the RSVPs we've gotten so far and marked responses on our spreadsheet.
The big day is only 40 days away, I can't believe how close it is... and how much I have yet to finish!
Oh BTW here's me and Gio
