Everything has been going so well for us. We've been a little behind schedule on most things, but it's all worked out perfectly. Except one thing. And that one thing, of course, has to be The Dress.
You see, I got my dress in October,
one month after FH proposed. Maybe that was a bad idea, I don't know. But when I found The Dress, I asked if they could do a corset back instead of a zipper. They said "Yes, absolutely, no problem. That'll be an extra $100, please."
I had my final fitting in November. The Dress looks perfect, but they didn't give me the corset back I wanted. I ask why, and they casually say that because of the beading/embroidery, they can't do a corset back. Here is the link to
my dress. I'm bummed, but what can I do?
I last tried it on in May. Admittedly, I gained 5-10 pounds. But The Dress fit,
EXCEPT right under my bust. WTF?! That's just ribs and skin, no fat! Double WTF?!
PANIC.I've lost 5 lbs, but no inches. I called the original David's Bridal where I bought The Dress, and they said they could put in a corset back if needed. But I've moved, so I can't actually go in. Thus, my mother is mailing me The Dress, and this Tuesday I'm going to my nearest David's to see what they can do.
Dear God, please let this corset back be my saving grace in the one and only thing that has gone wrong in the wedding planning process.
