Losing weight last 2 weeks

I need to lose about 7 pounds in the next two weeks.  I know it isn't very healthy.  I am very health conscious, however, my dress is a little tight, and the 7 pounds will make sure it fits perfectly.  Not sure how to go about it.

Eat healthy. Eat less calories (you should NEVER eat less than 1,200 calories a day, it will just make your body shut down and give you headaches). Exercise (jump rope works well for all over toning).

    Good luck!

  • i agree to the calories...if you eat 1200-1300 calories a day (which isn't bad if you fill up with veggies and chicken, and drink lots of water) and EXERCISE.  When I first started my diet last year i ate 1500 calories a day and did the biggest loser wii game 4 times a week and walked the other 3 days and I lost 10lbs the first week (I also lost 50lbs in 8 months)....good luck.  I could stand to lose 7-10 lbs before my wedding in 12 days but working two jobs and mom in the hospital/rehab home, I don't have the time to exercise lilke I should.
  • Not sure how you know 7 lbs is the 'exact' number, but healthy eating and exercise.  Also, LOTS of water.  Bloating is probably accounting for more than you realize, so be careful what foods you eat.

  • Lean protein should be your BFF. Cut out carbs and sugar and drink a ton of water.
  • Only drink water, no soda or sugary drinks. Seven pounds is a lot to lose in 2 weeks, good luck.

  • All I can say is good luck. I have heard the cabbage diet works well (I think that's what it was). My friend and her husband did it like 2 weeks before their wedding and they both dropped like 10 pounds and her dress didn't because she was too small. Hope you can lose weight more healthily!
  • I think you can do it!  Depending on how much your originally weight is (not asking you to say this on the board) but i would def. think it is possible. I'm down 26 pounds from my heaviest and the first 10 just fell off once I changed my diet. Pop and sugary drinks (this includes fruit juices) are major things to cut out for sugars/ carbs and calories. I also had good luck with giving up fast foods and ALLLL fried foods. Drink water. Most people confuse being thirsty with hunger. Every time you get the muchies go and have a big glass of water. I have lemons and limes to add to my water always in the house and crunch on crushed ice for the texture i think i want.
    Good luck!

A few ways that I cut a few lbs quickly when i need to are,
I cut out all carbs. And i dont eat fruit after like 2pm. No soda, no sugar. lots of grilled chicken, and grilled or steamed veggies. no salt!

cabbage soup diet works pretty good but be warned the second you need normal food you will deff gain that weight right back.

    17 day diet works wonders

    drink sooo much water

excerise a lot, even if your sitting at your desk tap your foot or something, keep your body moving.

    you can do a clense

Also, be careful with the quick fixes you really have to time itout right because once you start eatting normal food again your going to gain the weight back quick.
and i know this is not a good way to lose weight! but these are some things that have worked in the past. Good luckkk!!

  • Do power yoga!!! Find a heated yoga studio where you live. It's usually $15 per class but it's worth it! You'll lose 3-4 pounds in one class just in water weight, and it will help tone your muscles and give your skin a healthy glow. If you don't have a mat, you can rent one at the studio. Just remember to eat healthy meals that day, drink TONS of water before you go, bring water with you, and don't eat for an hour before class. You will be SO glad you went!!
  • Some of these girls have mentioned a calorie thresshold, but that all depends on SO many factors. It depends how tall you are and what your daily activity level is. I'm only 5'2 and I have a desk job all day, so sometimes I only have about 800 calories if I've gained a pound or two and I'm trying to get it off. Cardio cardio cardio is your friend. Get in as many work outs as you can. Water, drink water constantly!!! Eat clean, if God didn't make it then don't eat it. General rule, if it doesn't have a mother or grow from the ground it doesn't belong in your body. Good luck!!
  • Definitely drink lots and lots of water. Keep a food diary. I'm a stress eater, but I've found that if I brush my teeth after meals, I'm less likely to want to snack -- especially after dinner!
