Am I Being Too Pushy??

Okay, I met with and paid my deposit on my DOC. Both FI and I realy liked her and didn't feel she was shady. All of my other vendors said nice things about her (small town so all of the "wedding" vendors know each other). She told me she would have a wedding day timeline for me in about a week...that was a month ago. She said sorry and then sent me a form to fill out asking lots of questions to help decide a timeline last week and I replied that evening. Now I haven't heard anything again. I know she's busy and my wedding is 5 months away, but am I being pushy or should I fire her?

I do not think you are being pushy at all. I think you should probably have a conversation with her about your expectations regarding communication and then give her a chance to do better over the next few weeks. If she doesn't improve, then you should fire her.

I dont think you are being to pushy either. You hired her to do a job, that job is coordinate your wedding, if she isnt meeting your stanards for your Wedding day needs then I say give her one more chance then give her the boot.

It sounds like you've been very patient!  Especially since you hired her to help you/make things easier for you, and she's not. I would definitely have a talk with her about what you're expecting, and how her lack of communication and follow through is bothering you.  And if that doesn't work, I'd find someone else

I called her on the phone and she says she never got my attachment in e-mail. It was through Google docs so I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and say it was lost in space/ didn't know how to use Google docs correctly. It has been resent so I'm crossing my fingers things go a tad smoother.

Good luck, I hope she gets better with communication for you, and if not I agree with PPs, let her go and find another DOC.  You aren't being pushy, just had expectations that aren't necessarily being filled..
