    To answer the question you asked:My question is (it may be a corny question), can I still have the father/daughter dance & the first dance as a married couple if we get married way before the wedding? I think by all means have the father/daughter dance and first dance. Me, personally, I would be excited to celebrate your marriage with you (if I were family or friends) no matter if you were already married or not. My cousin got married in March because he wanted his wife to receive benefits while he was in basic training. They're having a wedding (ceremony + reception) in December. Not a vow renewal, but a wedding. It's a wedding in their eyes and therefore it's a wedding in mine.
