1st dress fitting a success!!!!!

So incredibly excited!! I had my first dress fitting tonight, it fit AMAZING!  The bustle was beautiful...I am soooo incredibly happy!!!

I had my first one last night as well!! I was started to get really nervous for it since I bought off the rack and needed a lot of detailed bead work done. My seamstress apparently LOVES doing beadwork and her price was OUTSTANDING... wahoo!

May I ask how many fitting you are having? Since I went earlier than she usually recommends (because of the beadwork...) I am having 4 fittings instead of the standard 3. Do you have to do the same?

Mine is scheduled for June 9th (I still need shoes!), but I think we're only doing 2 fittings.

I had my fitting at David's.  The price wasn't as bad as i expected.  It was $130 for the hem, $45 for the bustle and $30 to take the halter up.  I honestly had expected the bustle to be over $100 but because it was only 5 points it was less. 

I am having two fittings and then the final one right before I ship my dress.  I am getting married in Philly (i live in MN) so I am doing it about a month ahead of time because IF somethings happesn to it in transit I have time to replace it. 

Here are the pictures!! :)  Mine has a bunch of beading at the bottom as well, so I am sure it will be a pain for them.

My first fitting is scheduled for June 2nd. I'm so nervous and excited. I had some back fat showing that I wanted to get rid of. I haven't exercised one bit but I did lose 10 pounds by changing my diet. I hope the back fat is gone.

I technically had my first fitting in March, but that was more of a "can you do what I need done to this dress?" meeting!  I'm excited to see the finished result and to have it fitted for length!!
