Hello, We were thinking of a Sept wedding, but are now thinking that Labor Day might be better to get an extra day for our honeymoon and for our guests to travel. We live in Houston but are going to do a California wine country wedding, so everyone will be traveling out there from Houston and Wisconsin (where my family is). Is it rude to plan our wedding over this holiday weekend? I would love to hear what other people considered when looking at the August weekends. We will be getting married on a Friday.
