thank you gift for my shower....

I had like 4 people in on surprising me for a shower.. my mom, FSMIL, FSIL, and my BFF/MOH. 

I plan to get my mom a pandora charm as a thank you, FSMIL a really nice bottle of wine, idno what for FSIL.

For my MOH i wanted to get her somemthing really nice, she really went above and beyond for my shower and its just not her style to do that. Im usally the creative one in the friendship lol and she really really put a lot of hard work and diy into it and i really want to thank her. I know that she was really really trying to make this special for me (which she did ((they all did). So anyway, she is actually moving with her boyfriend into a house in a couple of weeks. Its a pretty big deal because they are really serious and shes never lived with a boy before. She doesnt have any kitchen stuff etc, just her like bedroom. I was thikning of getting her a really nice serving platter/big salad bowl/something like that as a thank you. What do you guys think of that? Is it werid because its not wedding related and more like a gift for a new phase in her life?

That sounds like an awesome gift. I personalized my gifts for my two shower hostesess. I sent my SIL flowers to her office because I knew her job was stressing her out (lilies her fave) and my other SIL I got her a giftcard to get her nails done because she never does anything like that for herself. I think she will appreciate the thought you are putting into it, and she will think of you when she uses it. It doesn't have to be related to the wedding because it is related to her.

I think that's perfect- it doesn't have to be wedding related, it should be something that she'll use (and think of you and the shower when she does!). I'm sure that some sort of serving bowl/platter would be much appreciated.
