Fill us in on your WR and NWR updates from this past weekend!

WR: Nothing

NWR: Well my mom and I got back from our cruise late Saturday night (which was amazing) and then today we threw my little brother a birthday party for his 15th birthday! I cannot believe he will be getting his drivers permit this week! Yikes.

WR: Pretty much finalized the music for our ceremony.  Contacted an alterations person to discuss when to take my dress in/what can be done (I'm a PoB bride, so I have to get alterations elsewhere).  Added some items to our registry.

NWR: Ran 6 miles today.  I'm looking for some new running shoes, so I've spent a fair amount of time researching those this weekend.  Ran errands (grocery shopping and such).  Went out for drinks with FI a couple times as the weather has been relatively warm and beautiful!

WR: Not much. Two of my BMs went shopping for dresses, which if they find ones, will leave only one BM left to pick hers. I also decided on what my FGs will carry, since petals are out for our church (flower and ribbon wands!) and I got a bunch of yellow paper lanterns from another Knottie. Looked up ideas for DIY decorating as well. 

NWR: Slept late, continued being sick.Yesterday we did some grocery shopping and today we took our cats into the backyard for some harnessed outdoor time (first time since October!) We made vegan spinach manicotti tonight for dinner.

WR: decided on a company for the rest of our paper goods (escort cards, table numbers, etc.), scheduled most of the final meetings with vendors and first meeting with calligrapher, found dress for my shower

NWR: Ate cookies, went to mom's for a delicious pancake breakfast, caught up with a BM while watching Selection Sunday, took care of our sick puppy, and ran a few miles

Nothing too eventful, but I don't mind!

WR: not much at all... our invites are in the being designed stage but I'm not doing them.  Celebrated our 5 month countdown!

NWR: worked all weekend, 12 hour shifts.  Couple days off now, but going to Vegas next weekend!!  FI would love to just elope but this far into planning I told him probably not gonna happen lol

WR: Worked on our bird cage cardholder and got 98% done, started on our cake topper and did a tiny bit of work on our candy buffet banner. A friend (MOH, 4 hours away) is getting married in 2 weeks and wanted some motivation for her DIY so we worked "together" projects and would text pictures back and forth for reviews or AW-ing when completed. She managed to complete most of her projects so I felt good to "help" out.

NWR: Uncle was in from the east coast Saturday so we had a family pizza party. Went to a house warming party for a co-worker of FI's Friday. Made arrangements to go to a funeral for a different uncle this week that will be held 5 hours away from my home. I enjoy the idea of our guest list getting smaller but I do not like that it is due to deaths. Six guests (5 fam, 1 neighbor) have passed in the past 15 months.

WR: I finally feel like a did a bunch! Saturday FI and I sat with a travel agent and narrowed down our HM options. Looks like we will be cruising the Greek Isles! So very excited to have this squared away. Just waiting for the agent to get back to us this week with the best flight packages and such. Huuuuuge but fun check out of the way.

This check prompted me to start HM bathing suit shopping, and I ordered 2 new ones from Vicky's Secret (gotta love free shipping weekend!)

Saturday Afternoon, FI and I  had our engagement session! A little too late to do Save the Dates, but still glad to get it out of the way. It will be nice to have some formal pictures that are not wedding-y.

Sunday, my MOH and I hit up the last Bridal Show of the year, in the hopes to find different cake bakers. The same one that we have seen at the previous shows was the only one there, so we will see. FI and I also selected our florist. I just emailed her now, and I am waiting on the contract.

Pheeeeeew lots of wedding related stuff, not much time for other things. I did manage to squeeze in a good 3 hour nap yesterday.

WR: On Saturday was supposed to go work on center pieces by my grandma caught the cold from our youngest and its hit her pretty hard so instead, I went down town and checked in on how to register at a local kitchen supply store. And started looking for gifts for the wedding party.

 I also went to the dress store, i tried on my shoes i had bought for the wedding, and there is NO WAY i could wear them all day, so i went to see if i could find something different that i would be comfortable in, and i am having issues with picking something, i may consider doing cowboy boots cause i am definatly not a high heel girl.

Also went and picked up the supplies to start constructing our invites!! Super excited about that, I love doing paper crafts.

After Fi got off work we went ring shopping for him and found one!! So thats a big check! Also, went and registered at the kitchen store!! It was kind of overwhelming, but we got a good start on it!!

Phew!!!!

NW: We went to Fi's nieces reception, they got married in February and her now husband is stationed in North Carolina and they are moving down there today, so his parents threw them a wedding reception as they got married in the shadows and no one knew they were getting married except her mom....looong story. I also got to dance with my FFIL it was fun!

WR: Went to our first planning session at our venue.   Have a rough idea of menu, did some wine tasting, and figured out decor.

NWR:  More house hunting.  We put in an offer last night and it was accepted!   Eeek.   A 3 bedroom house with a huge yard for the dog and a large deck with amazing views.  This likely means that we will be setting up another registry as now we need outdoor furniture.

WR: Saturday was a huge wedding day. We met with a photographer (who we are not going with - he was way weird.) Then, went to dress shop and I finally picked my Bridesmaid dresses! Went to jewelry store and they are ordering some rings for FI to try. Figured out what we're going to do for invites, reviewed the budget one more time and everything is looking good. Also, did a lot of online research for centerpieces and decorations.

NWR: Had a big birthday dinner with FIs family. yesterday was the first 60 degree day in WI since October, so my dog and I walked for 6 miles. Man am I sore!

Next Weekend: Registering, and make a decision on photographer!

WR: Registered at Target, and narrowed down invitations to our favorite two.  I'm ordering samples tonight!

NWR: Visited some friends and had dinner and drinks, and spent some time with my parents and sister.

WR: Not much, got a picture of our flower girl in her dress!! She is  a cutie!!

NWR: FI worked a lot as he is a tax preparer, and when he wasn't working we just relaxed (we needed it as we have had a stressful couple of weeks with family and medical issues)!
