What kind of jewelry will you be wearing with your dress? I have found some absolutely beautiful earrings and necklaces, but they are very expensive and I just don't know if I would wear them again after our wedding. I am stumped as to what I should wear real or fake jewels?

I am wearing a real set of pearls that were passed down to me from my greatgrandparents. And then my bracelet and earrings I made from faux pearls to match the neckalce. I personally wouldn't spend the money on real jewelry just for your wedding day. But that's just my opinion. If I didn't get the pearls from my greatgrandparents I would have gone with all faux.

I hear ya about jewelry being sooo expensive. I am not wearing real jewelry per say. I had been eyeing some Swarovski Crystal earrings which I thought were way to expensive, but my parents suprised me with them as a gift. So I will be wearing those with Swarovski bracelet which I am borrowing from my aunt.

I agree, that real isn't always necessary, but it is completely upto you as to what you wear. I would highly suggest etsy for these types of things, if you don't want to spend a bloomin fortune.

I am wearing significant diamond studs that I bought for myself for everyday wear and my engagement ring. Just like I do every day. I like to be simple but I'm wearing a really detailed dress and a crystal headband.

I had some simple but elegant jewelry made on Etsy.  It was more than I wanted to spend, especially since I don't like my first set anymore and had to have a 2nd set made.  But I do really like it now and it compliments the dress.

I'm borrowing the pearls that my mom wore on her wedding day.  It's an inexpensive option and it can count as my "something borrowed"!

I'm not sure what I'm wearing yet..I'm debating doing a simple Cross necklace I got from all my siblings as a graduation gift (from nursing school)!!  I wear it almost everyday and if it works that will probably be the necklace!!

Mom and I are going to hide in my room with my jewelry (and dress on) and match necklaces to the dress!!   Hopefully will be done this weekend before I bring it in to get alterations started!

If you have really nice jewelry already and they go well with your dress, I don't think it is necessary to go out and buy new jewelry!!
