Fill us in on your WR and NWR updates from the weekend!

WR: I got a dress I had ordered in the mail for my bridal shower... & I love it! Not much else, but stay tuned because I'm on vacation this week so I will be getting a LOT done! 

NWR: Hung out with fiance, did a little spring cleaning (to be continued this week) and enjoyed Easter with my family and FI.

WR: Not much besides that I noticed I now have a few items purchased off of my registry!! (sorry it's hard not to check it here and there).

NWR: My FI and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary and his 23rd Birthday on Friday Then we celebrated Easter with my family today and it was so nice because his mom joined us! So, it was a nice relaxing weekend with my FI and family!

WR: I went shopping with my mom to get her MOB dress from the same place I got mine which was great because she was finally able to see me in my dress.

NWR: Had a wonderful time hanging out with my family for the holiday weekend being that I don't get to see them that often being that I live in Northern NJ and they are all Southern.

WR- All groomsmen are fitted for their tuxes!
NWR- Went to my fiance's cousin wifes bridal shower, hung out with family on fiance's side for Easter, spent time withy family, homework.

WR:  Finished gathering all addresses for guest list.

NWR:  Looking into adopting two puppies.

WR: picked out tuxes, picked out a baker, finalized our invitation design and our designer ordered a sample

NWR: Easter with my family, relaxing, house hunting online until we can take another trip to NC to look at houses

WR: got the paper& ink color samples in the mail from the person doing my invites, my dress arrived, and we registered

NWR: My aunt passed away. This was expected and honestly as terrible as it sounds...it is somewhat of a relief. I say this because her quality of life was awful. Anyway, just sort of bumming bc of that but I am happy at the same time for her.

I'm sorry to hear about that. But I understand what you mean about it being a relief. Now she is out of pain and you aren't stuck in limbo. My prayers are with you.

WR: Went to our final tasting witht eh caterer! Fiance couldnt go but my dad was SO funny when he was there. He was like being so picky aout the food and he told me if i wanted a speciality linen to pick one out becuse he said i wasnt being a "diva" at all about the wedding and maing absurd requests so he let me pick out something special

NWR: had easter dinner with my parents and only ate a few MINI eggs I lvoe those things.
Tried a new recipe for stuffed artichokes and they came out so good!

WR: Fi and I talked about after the wedding, since we arn't taking a honeymoon, we were trying to decide how we could take a mini moon instead. It's during his busy season at work, and we have an 8 year old(that we have to take to her moms the day after the wedding) and a 1 year old. We will also have his 16 year old son(he lives in New York with his mom) at that time as well. Didn't really get anywhere, considering a trip to one of the lodges on the mountain but nothing set in stone yet.

NWR: Friday I got the flu, Fi got a nasty head cold. So Fi took care of me Friday night and worked Saturday, I crashed on the couch with our 1 year old. Saturday night went to my parents house to dye eggs with my brother, sister in law and nephew. Sunday went to church, Fi stayed home cause of his cold, and then we had dinner at my parents house afterward, and picked up his daughter (our 8 year old, she is really like a daughter to me rather than a step daughter, i love her to pieces)

WR: We registered at BB&B--it's our bigger registry.  Spent lots of time looking at new invitations thanks to the AWFUL quality of the ones we got from Vistaprint   The last bridesmaid ordered her dress today   and my MOH mailed out shower invitations today! 

NWR: Ate way too much!

WR: Listened to my future cousin in law play piano (she will be our pianist) and went over some songs that we want to be played!  Also, talked to my aunt about my veil, and she may be able to just alter my sister's old veil to make it work for me!!   Also, was thinking of using the new "Crayola Colored Bubbles" for people to blow on us, that ended up being a HUGE no since it says right on the bottle "not for use at weddings"!!  

NWR:  Friday got to my parents house late, watched the DWTS episode from Monday, then "Say Yes to the Dress" for awhile!!

Saturday got up early and went grocery shopping with Mom, found one of my FAVORITE fruits (lychee) at the grocery store I used to work at!!  This was HUGE for me since I can rarely find lychee outside Asian specialty stores!!  Had a birthday party for my uncle Saturday night, and SUPRISED FI with a cheesecake at the party (its FIs birthday today, but Mom wanted him to have a special treat Saturday)!! 

Sunday woke up and the Easter Bunny had hidden 12 eggs for FI and I at my parents house (FI was still in bed so I got to find them all), then went to church with my family and embarassed FI by announcing that it would be his birthday today (the congregation sings happy birthday to anyone having birthdays that week)!!  After church went to my aunt and uncles house for Easter dinner, and had a MASSIVE egg hunt at 2:30!! We hid over 300 eggs for the kids to find!!!   It was SUPER fun watching all the little cousins running around, each kid found 36 eggs!!!!!

WR:  Nothing.   Starting to get lots of questions from guests about the cost of travel.   I have a feeling we may have a lot of people who aren't able to come due to the high cost of flights. 

NWR:  We had friends in town so we were very busy playing tour guide and eating and drinking way more than I should have.

WR: Fi and I went to look at wedding bands for him and he found the one he wanted Can't wait to see him in it now.  Also purchased some frames to hold some of our engagement photos as a display in the reception entrance area.

NWR: Spent Easter with my sister and nieces and FI

WR: Spent a morning rummaging around my grandma's attic to gather old books that we will be using as centerpieces (FI and I are both English teachers).  We found a ton of great books, including some classics, which means that our centerpieces will cost very little to make.

NWR: Went to a friend's bachelorette party, went to a Brewer's game, and spent Easter with our families.

WR: Bought some aisle decorations for the church and also purchased table numbers from another knottie. Started working on my DIY felt flag banner. Bought some more makeup supplies and got my wedding night lingerie in the mail!

NWR: FI and I went out for sushi on Friday night to celebrate his new job! Then had Easter breakfast with my family and Easter dinner with his. And I'm on break this week so hopefully I will get a lot done, both wedding and non-wedding related
