DIYs and Hair (PIP)

Here are various photos I have been meaning to share from the past month or so. 

Here is the style I had done at my trial. The little colored pins were just for reference. I have a green hair pin that is going there instead. I am planning to put a hair piece on the left side, since that's the side without the curls.
 

These are my DIY wedding favors, which we finished back in June:

This was actually the second version. The first one looked nice, but it was way too big, so we had to take it apart and start over. I just have to finish the bouquets for the bridesmaids, which should be easier since they aren't getting the paper flowers, crystals, or shiny black petals in theirs.

I really like your hair.  I've been debating going with a side swept style versus an updo.  I was leaning towards updo, but now I'm not so sure!  Beautiful and congrats on the DIY!

Thanks mt! When she first started, she started to do a full updo that would have resulted in that plastic-y look, but I told her I wanted something that looked more "me," and after a few clarifications, this came out. I'm very happy with the results.

Thanks! I've gotten so many great compliments on it from all of our friends.

Also, I just noticed in your wedding preview the bracelet cuff thing in the top corner. I just ordered one of those, too. Fingers crossed that it gets to me in time, but we'll see!

Thanks! I don't normally wear my hair up that much, so I felt more comfortable with this style, since to me it feels like a nice balance of being pinned up but feeling covered by hair. :)
