Ok, I know tis is like an annoying immature thing. But I have to vent- because it is kind of bothering me.
Background: I have a friend that always has to be "original" like everytime she does something she is like "i did it because its not like everyone else". It's almost like she does stuff and says that so it makes it annoying, kind of. She is one of my best friends. But its like "ok if its so original you don't have to announce it every second". That's my vent on her doing that. It's kind of an inside joke with our other friends-- like "oh its original so its so (insert her name here)" and we tease her about it. Also, if you copy anything she does she is liek ":OMG copycat that was MY original idea"
Other background: FI and I originally really wanted to go to Costa Rica for a honeymoon-but august is their rainy season- so instead we decided we would look into Belize- which is also more affordable.
For a few months I've been doing research on Belize. I have mentioned this to said friend above, multiple times.
So yesterday my friend mentioned above texts me. "BOOKED OUR HONEYMOON TO BELIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!".
Ok I kinda feel "idea hacked" and I know I do not OWN Belize. or the idea to go to belize. But they are getting married 4 weeks before us- and it feels like we are copying them. She already said i copied her to have a 2012 wedding. So now its like we are following them on their honeymoon.
And I know I can just go, and stay a different place etc. But its REALLY annoying that she took my honeymoon and madeit "hers" and I texted back "oh fun! we were looking into belize" and she goes "omg!! isn't it great- it was my idea- so original!"
