So momma talked me into going dress shopping for tomorrow.
I'm kind of dreading it and have been putting it off as much as I can, but she said we need to get the order in before we have to rush order a dress. I finally broke down and said ok. I have tattoos, A LOT of tattoos. She wants me to get something to cover my tattoos for the ceremony, a shawl or a bolero. I'm proud of them and want to show them off. I've got a really nice one my daughters on my back with flowers and a lot of detail and don't feel that I need to hide them. I also plan on getting a group on my shoulder of Chinese symbols that say "love passion, honor and faithful". There's one I do plan on making sure to hide, (it's a Chinese style cat on my breast *goodness I LOVE my kitty*) but don't really think that I should hide all of them. Especially since FH also has tattoos and there's no hiding all of his.
So, I guess my question is: would you honor your momma's wish to cover them or would you be true to yourself and wear them proudly?
