Ive done some major things so far like, the wedding venue, reception menu and location, I have my photographer and dj. Any suggestion on picking my wedding dress online or from a store in person and on picking out bridesmaids dresses that everyone will like? It will probably be difficult to get all of my girls together for dress fittings any ideas there? Thankyou

In terms of bridesmaid dresses there is no need to get everybody together for a fitting.   I am having my 2 sisters as my BMs we live in 3 different states so getting together was not going to be easy.   I found a dress on-line at Macy's that they both liked, they ordered it and luckily it fit them both.   Depending on the number of BM it might be easier to pick a color and have them each get a dress in that color they will like.

Welcome!!!!!! I am new too for August. I just got engaged a month ago. I have booked my venue and church and photographer. All I ever do anymore is think about the wedding, plan for the wedding and research for the wedding, lol. I can't wait to get some stuff done so I can relax but there's literally SO much to do. I am so happy I found TK...I would not be able to survive with out it. Everytime I have a question, I either search the boards or post a new question. I have gotten so much help on here!! Good luck...My next thing to do is look for BM dresses and my dresses also.

As far as dress shopping, I would go online to look for styles you like, but definitely try them on in store (you may love a style and find out that it either isn't flattering or just isn't the one you want)..

Bridesmaids dresses- My MOH and one BM live in different states, so what I did is I looked online and found a bunch of dresses I liked, and got feedback from my OOT BMs, then my one in state BM and I went to Davids Bridal and tried on a few dresses (I tried on in place of my OOT BMs), and we picked the very 1st one we tried on!!
