Don't fret just yet!  My invites (from the BRIDES collection at Michaels) were also stark white.  A little bit of ribbon, a monogram sticker, and envelope liners went a LONG way (pics in my planning bio). You'll be surprised how much you might like the stark white after that.  It makes them look really elegant.
