Finally Decided on Honeymoon Location

After much, MUCH discussion, my fiance and I have finally decided on our honeymoon location. After we narrowed down our list, the top contendors were St. Lucia, Hawaii, and Mexico. We talked about what was most important to us--we want to relax and be pampered--so we decided to go to Secrets Maroma. I've heard so many great things about it. We're actually going to start with three days in Cozumel so my fiance can scuba dive and then spend 9 days at Secrets.

SO excited!! Where is everyone else going?

Awesome!  Cozumel is a ton of fun!

We're cruising to Bermuda from NYC since FI isn't the biggest fan of flying.

Sounds nice and relaxing. 

We are doing something a little less traditional for our honeymoon.  Yellowstone National Park and The Tetons.   Old Faithfull Inn and then a luxury resort in Jackson Hole.

I think after much deliberation we have decided on Italy. But it could still change!

Dawn, I also thought Jackson Hole would be a great choice. FI really hates to just sit around and do nothing (I rather enjoy it sometimes) so we need something with activity!

Congrats on the check!!  We are going to Orlando, Florida and planning to drive to the coast for at least one day on the beach!!

I love Italy especially Rome, Florence & Venice.    I'm with your FI on needing the activity.  My FI could sit on a beach for hours I go nuts after about 30 minutes.  However sitting at a cafe in a piazza in Italy I can do for hours :)

I'm not going to Mexico, but my brother and SIL recommended the Blue Moon Palace (very reasonable and they had a fantastic time)!

We are going to Aruba...all inclusive. Can't wait to relax and be pampered

We're staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. It just so happened that the day I was researching their prices, they were having a one day only sale with great discounts on all their room/suite rates, so FI and I jumped on that real quick!

I had been looking into Ireland, but the cost was just going to be too expensive for us. We figure that we'll go another year when we aren't sinking money into a wedding, haha!

Congrats and so exciting!! My FI booked our honeymoon and he is keeping it a surprise from me until we arrive at the airport.
