My 1St no name RSVP!

This is exactly why I numbered the back of mine. They declined so it doesn't really matter right now who it is but having to wait until I get home to find out who it is is really annoying.

Re: My 1St no name RSVP!

  • I numbered the backs of mine too! I also had one with no name and it was so nice to be able to just look on my spreadsheet. They didn't put their name or return address so I would have been really lost!
  • I decided to write the names in for people. I was afraid that would happen so I went ahead and did it. So far it has been really clear who is or isn't coming because people write it in the margins and also because I'm sure a spouse (of a friend/coworker) wouldn't come without the person who actually knows us anyways.
  • i had every intention to number ours -- and then forgot! yikes.  we had 2 no-names >.<   thankfully a lot of our family/friends sent us "so excited for your wedding! just sent our RSVP in!" messages and emails, that we were able to figure it out.

annoyingly, it seems as though the post office has lost at least 2 or 3 RSVP envelopes in the mail... the downfall of tiny rsvp envelopes i guess....that or people said they sent them when they didnt. lol
  • We had a number of no name responses and I didn't know about numbering the backs until afterwards.  Our favorite was the person who sent it back without  anything filled out.  At least he put a return address on it so we were able to contact him.  His response "I was afraid I had done that."

I got my first no name RSVP today too!  I numbered the backs in invisible ink and put a black light on it to see the number. I'm so glad I took the time to do this!  I had kind of figured that in the end it would be unneeded.  Not so!

  • Numbers are a good idea... didn't have time to do that. Ah well. We haven't gotten any no-names back yet, although I'm sure we will at some point.
  • We've had someone send their RSVP back completely blank. No name, response, or address. The envelope wasn't even sealed. I'm thinking whoever it was just assumed it was ready to be mailed since there was a stamp and my address on it. It's still a mystery.

  • I numbered the backs of mine.  We got two no names, so it came it handy.

we numbered ours also, we didnt use the blacklight pen, just regular pen, only one of my friend that's planning a wedding noticed it but no one else did.
got a few blanks back as well as ones from the same family with switched rsvp cards.
