I just got an RSVP from FI's aunt and uncle saying they will be coming to the wedding! I am really excited. FI has mentioned a few times that he doesn't think that anyone from his family will come to the wedding. FMIL hasn't sent in her RSVP yet and probalby never will, she is not a very pleasant person. FSIL did RSVP yes to the wedding, but she also said she would be at the shower and didn't show (I think she will only go if fmil goes). FFIL is nice enough but I think he will just go along with whatever everyone else is doing. Other than immediate family FI said he only wanted to invite the aunts and uncles on his mother's side (3 couples) and his grandparents on his mothers side. And his grandparents cant come since they won't be able to travel due to health reasons. This particular aunt and uncle have always been so nice every time I have met them, I was really hoping they would come. I am so happy that someone will be there from FI's family who is actually friendly and supportive. Getting that RSVP just made my night
