My wedding shoes are slingback. I got them in a size 7 1/2 and they fit perfect for the length of my feet, but the hole on the slingback that would make it the tightest fitting is still too loose. I didn't think making a new hole would be a big deal... but it just dosen't seem to puncture. I have tried using a tack and a nail and pushing it through with my hands... but to no avail. Anybody have any suggestion or have experience making the hole? Once I make it I clearly can't return the shoes so I just really don't want to mess it up on the most expensive pair of shoes I own. My FI suggested using a nail but hammering it through... he didn't understand why I would think that was a bad idea lol
I need to start breaking them in ASAP... I do terrible in heels!
