WR: Set up a meeting with our church and our photographer to get some final details put into place. Also, set up our food tasting with our reception venue for this Friday! Can't wait to taste all of the yummy food!

NWR: FI and I graduated from college this weekend! We also moved all of my stuff back home from where I was going to school and now I am at home until the wedding. So, it was quite the busy weekend!

WR: Found an awesome deal on personalized napkins on Amazon, so now I just need to get FI (and my Mom lol) to look at and agree on the style/wording.  Also found a pretty good deal for bubbles on Amazon!  I wish I'd of looked on Amazon before lol, would've saved me some stress!!  

NWR: FI and I planted our garden Saturday, and it rained most of the weekend so we are hoping for sunshine so our plants will start sprouting!  

Sunday - I started cleaning the camper FI inherited, it is an older camper that is pulled by a truck (the top of the camper over the bed of the truck) and once we get it cleaned up it should be a pretty good camper (it has been sitting in a pole barn for roughly 20 years)!!  So that is our big project for this summer

WR: Bought my WEDDING SHOES and EARRINGS!

NWR: Fiance nad I spent sunday doing fun local t hings, we took our dog for a hike, went to a local vineyard, and a local dairy farm for treats.

colst - congratulations on graduation!!!

WR: finally got thank you gift for shower hostess out the door, as well as all thank you notes, continued shoe hunting (still nothing...sigh)

NWR: played in Philly with my college roommate, ate too much, and cheered FI while he ran the 10 mile Broad Street run

WR: Got all my invitations printed, cut and stuffed. Everything is ready to go as soon as July rolls around. I just didn't want to have to worry about them anymore!

FI picked up my ring from the jeweler Friday, but his wasn't in yet. We tried to call on Saturday but nobody would pick up the phone. We were advised to order his ring and then when it got in during their sale weekend, we would get the sale price on it, but when we went in, the place was swarming with people. FI called the store from inside the store and the girl behind the counter just said, "The phone is ringing again..." and nobody even tried to pick it up!! FI said that if the ring isn't in  today and/or they won't give us the weekend discount that he'll just tell them to forget it. Ugh, just means we'll have to look at places all over again

NWR: Ran 6.8 miles in the local marathon relay. Our team placed 138/297 in our division and 245/511 overall!

WR: We met with the coordinator at the venue and went over some of the day-of details, as well as all of the menu/appetizers things we wanted. Picked out the colored linens with her too (it's included in our package!). We also picked up both of our wedding rings that day! It looks better than I remembered it! There was a small snafu with Fi's ring, though (I'll explain below). I found my camera and I took pictures of some various things, so I'll be making a separate post shortly. 

The snafu: When FI tried on his ring, it was tight--very tight. The woman had to use windex in order for him to get it off. The only thing the lady said was that it could be because of the weather that caused his fingers to be more swollen than normal, or maybe even things he's eaten (particularly sodium). She said to take it home, try it again in a few days, and if it's still not right, to bring it back. We took it and left only because the store was busy, but we didn't think that was right at all, so we off to do some other errands and came back a while later. We ended up working with the manager (the original woman we worked with was out to lunch) and he stretched FI's ring. It fit just fine after that. Another woman who was there that had witnessed our first interaction there actually apologized for the other woman. We were so relieved that it all worked out!

NWR: Procrastinated on my paper, as I'm doing now, lol!

WR: Not much other than dealing with the drama of SS and SD moms....
NWR: bought fi's father gift early (new drill set, so he can finish the deck) bought the rest of the decking, had lunch on saturday with friends, kind of a lazy weekend. Cleaned house...nothing to exciting!

Congrats Colts!

NWR:  We moved into our new house this weekend.  Lots of unpacking and moving furntiture around. 

WR:  Nothing.  Now that we are settled will start getting back into planning mode.   We did mail our invites on Thursday does that count as a weekend update?

WR: Bought wedding earrings and necklace
        Bought wedding shoes
        Finally found ties for GM (it's been tough finding the exact color I was looking for!)
        Sorted out everything else I need to buy/figured out how much we owe our vendors
        Settled on caterer and set up tasting
       
NWR: Worked Saturday and Sunday
          Did a little gardening...it was a warm weekend so our plants went crazy (and so did weeds!)
          Finished tearing our the guest house that was in our backyard
          Had dinner with two BM

Wow...didn't realize it was such a busy weekend until I typed it all out. No wonder I'm tired today!

PS Dawnp917...I'm so jealous you sent out your invites. Mine are sealed, stamped, and addressed and I'm patiently waiting. Our date is August 25 with an RSVP of July 20...is it too soon to send??? I want to start getting RSVPs in the mail!!!

Colstj....congratulations!! How exciting for the two of you!!

WR: Finished up the invitations, addressing and assembling. Except for a couple people that we are waiting on addresses for, one friend just got a new job so she didn't know where she would be living yet, and another friend just got married this Saturday so I'll give her some time to enjoy being married before I start hounding her for her address We also assembled our favor boxes and put the 'thank you' stickers on them.

NWR: Went to a wedding on Saturday!! It was beautiful and I am so happy for my friend. We have known each other since young childhood. She, myself and another girl from church were always the church three musketeers growing up! And all three of us are getting married this year. :)

WR: A lot of development on the cake this weekend- decided to make my own! (It's a simple 10" red velvet cake but having that simple cake made vegan was going to cost us almost a $100!) We also decided on our cake topper and ordered those and our cake stand (a tree slice.) Also found some cake decorations (edible leaves and flowers made out of rice paper.) Bought a "Mr. and Mrs." sign for our reception table and also picked up some more supplies for my DIY makeup. Oh, and we got the email from VP saying our invites and RSVP cards were in the mail! AND we decided which flowers to use in our DIY centerpieces- Peruvian lilies; they're like 100 for 100 stems on fiftyflowers.com!

NWR: Went grocery shopping and mostly just stayed in, lol. FI just started his Sunday shifts which makes it hard to do much after Saturday. But thrilled about all the wedding checks!

WR: I got a call from the bridal shop saying that my veil came in.  I'm also excited because work shower is this Wednesday!

NWR: Caught up on some grading and lesson planning, cleaned the house, and grilled out with some friends.

WR- Decided what I want to do for favors (pretty photo coasters)

NWR- Just got a second job at a retail store, haven't started yet but there was a training meeting I went to.

Congrats Colst!

WR: Booked and put deposits down on DJ and Cake baker. Had a meeting with our pastor so we can start pre marital counsiling before the wedding. Set a date for next weekend to have a girls day and go bridemaid dress shopping.

NWR: Had 2 cookouts it was so beautiful outside finally! Did alot more work on our house. Its getting close to being done and I cant wait woot woot.
