The dress is an exclusive from the bridal shop I bought it at (Madeleine's Daughter in NH)...I got treated like a princess there and I told my consultant that I didn't wanna spend over $850 (in actuality I would have spent more for this specific dress cause I loved it that much! lol). I thought because my budget was low that they were gunna treat me differently since they work off commission....but not at all...she was so pleasant and not the LEAST bit pushy! This place works a little like Kleinfield...you get your own consultant...they pull the dresses for you...and I had my own huge room for my entourage to sit in with me (I only had my MOH Katherine with me cause I REALLY didn't think I was gunna purchase... I was planning to go to Brides Against Breast Cancer on Saturday in Boston and their most expensive dresses...besides the couture dresses, which are separated and put on special racks that I wouldn't even look at... are $800 so I had free range to get whatever I wanted. That was so appealing to me (& for the money to be donated to a charity obviously)..I thought even if I found "the one" at the bridal shop last night, that I would be hesitant about purchasing. But nope...not at all. I feel like I could try every single dress on at BABC on Saturday and I would still choose my dress all over again. So clearly I'm confident in my choice lol Do I wish I had found this dress at BABC and had the money go to a sick persons last wishes...of coarse...but things didn't turn out that way. I figure I'll probably donate it to the charity after the wedding and/or be a volunteer next year if they come bac to Boston. Oh...and before I post the pics I should mention it's Ivory, not white (which is what I wanted...or champagne...but not diamond white!) and it's 2 sizes too big...and the pics were taken at my MOH house so we didn't have the clip do-dads to make it form to my body so I did my best in the photos to hold it close to my body.
I know everybody says this...but the pictures REALLY don't do it justice. It's beaded and sparkly head to toe...without looking Gaudy what-so-ever. We all agreed it was classic and vintage looking with still having a modern flare.
Be honest guys...what do you think? Oh....almost forgot...original price was $1,100 and I got it for $550!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CLICK ME to see the dress... the pictures post too small here and the dress has a lot of detail
