I went to manage my Amazon.com registry because I added a last minute thing, and apparently it tells you if items have been purchased, because I just saw 2. I thought I had it set so it wouldn't do that, but I think that was just for notifying me who bought what, and not to tell me when something has been purchased. I guess I shouldn't check on that anymore. 

(But now that I saw something I'm getting, I'm really excited because I really wanted those!)

Does anyone else have an Amazon.com registry? Is there some way to turn this off that I am unaware of?

I have an amazon.com wedding registry and it shows me what items were purchased, but not by whom.  I can click on the item to get details of who purchased it (like for thank-you note purposes), but that feature only shows if I click.  So, I know what I'm getting, but don't know from who.

Speaking of registries...my shower invites went out last week and I saw that a couple things were bought (yay!) and am addicted to stalking...

Me too!  My shower is in less than 2 weeks, and I justify stalking because I want to make sure there are still items available in all price ranges, and that nothing is discontinued.

I caution registry stalking, I was before my first bridal shower, but then wasn't as excited opening gifts because I already knew what they were... Maybe it's just me but I like surprises

I like surprises too, and up until the invites went out I was adamant that I wouldn't check them AT ALL. Well, I'm trying not to, really...

This is why I was bummed that Amazon told me what was purchased so far! At least it'll still be a surprise because I don't know who bought it for me, so I won't know when it's coming, haha.
