When to give bridal party timeline of day?

So I've been having a few guys and girls from the bridal party wondering when things are going on and where they need to be when. I feel like we are so far out that I shouldn't need to send everyone a timeline of the rehearsal and day of yet, but since so many are already asking I'm feeling like maybe I should.

How soon is too soon to send this information? We're a little over 7 weeks out at this point. I don't want to tell people information too soon and have them forget, but I also don't want to be bombarded with the same questions from everyone as the time gets closer. My original plan was to send a mass e-mail to everyone towards the middle/end of July with times and places for everything, along with the "gameplan" for pictures.

What is everyone else doing?

Well, if they're asking for it, maybe a few of them or their SOs need to ask off work ahead of time or something. I'd work up a rough draft and then just let them know via email (so they can refer back to it) with the basics - round-about times of when they need to be and where.

i.e.
Hey guys, some of you have been asking for this, so here's a ballpark on where you need to be and when for our wedding rehearsal and day-of.

8/20 - Rehearsal: be at XYZ Church at about 5:00pm
8/21 - ladies be at ABC salon at 10am
        - guys be at DEF hotel at about 2pm

More details will be coming later, so this is all subject to change!

If they're expecting crazy detail right now... well.. they're crazy! lol  - Just make sure that the timeline isn't going to change drastically or else you're better off not giving them anything.

Well our wedding is August 18 so just over 7 weeks as well, and I already have a detailed spreadsheet and plan of all tasks/times/places for my own personal organization (I want low-low-low stress on the actual weekend and do not want to be bombarded with questions by everyone!) and I just figured out our rough timeline of events today for rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and the day before.  The day of is pretty simple for us luckily so the girls already know that plan.  But I have sort of been telling people slowly that we will have plans the day before.  I think PP's idea of a general timelines of rehearsal time, dinner, and starting time/place (ie for hair) is a great idea just so people can plan to take the day off work if they need to help with anything.  You don't need to be as anal about the scheduling as I am at all either, that's just my own way of doing it.

I am also going to send out a detailed timeline a few weeks to a month before. But I have also had a couple of friends ask about rehearsal time and such, so I think I will send out a Facebook message in the next week just giving people rehearsal info so they can plan for work and such.

At least you have bridal parties that care. I don't think mine do, which is sad because we only have one person on each side!

I think spazticrexe nailed it!  I know my FILs aren't doing invitations for the RD, so  I sent this out to our wedding party on Monday.
