August 2012 Weddings

NWR insane story from my work that i HAD to share with someone

So I am not supposed to "talk" about this to anyone, and I HAD to share- so i posted it here. Sorry its long and insane.

This is so non-wedding related but I had to share.I have been a bit MIA from the board because I am so busy at work. Why am I so busy?Because I had a horrible coworker that did nothing and would tell me she couldn’t’ remember how to access her email. She always went to the bathroom, and cried at her desk all day (she was mid divorce).I felt bad and so I picked up her slack for two months (she was new)Well, last week it all came to a ahead. First, she just didn’t show up to work for 3 days. Then one day, I came back from a lunch break (I never take a lunch! And fiancé came to meet me for 20 minutes). So we were gone 20, yea, only 20 minutes. I came back and I couldn’t find my coworker. I was mad because on the days she didn’t come in I had to sit in my office alone all day, and take like wicked fast bathroom breaks etc. So I was like “really I was gone 20 minutes”. When fiancé left my office he pointed and said he saw a hand sticking out from under a desk There she was-asleep under her desk!!!!!!!Ya totally passed out sleeping. So I took a photo of her for “evidence” for my boss- she didn’t even wake up! I called our part time accountant because she works around the corner and asked her for professional advice. Do I ask her to leave? Wake her up? Leave her there and tell my boss? She told me shed come over to help me wake her up and speak to her and tell  her to leave work. Well apparently while I was on the phone she woke up and flipped out that I saw her. She tried to leave but she passed out in the parking lot, and was crying “I can’t find my car” (while laying 2 feet from her car). Our accountant found her and called the cops and ambulance. I work in a government building (for a non government company) and because of this they had to  have a “Stand off” and send 2 cop cars, a firetruck, ambulance and had to evacuate the building. We had to talk her into coming inside and talking to an EMTShe told the EMT she had taken anti anxiety medication and drank- and apparently she was having a mental breakdown. I felt really bad, but now I can laugh about coming back from lunch to find my coworker passed out. I had to share the story of tis INSANITY- because I think I mentioned last week I asked for a raise and it got turned down.I hope I get that raise NOW!
