First fitting

Hi everyone, I'm getting married August 12, and I had my first fitting today! It was so much fun trying on my dress again, and it looked fantastic. It fits perfectly, so I'm just having it shortened and having a bustle added. It's starting to feel real, and I'm getting pretty excited! How's everyone else doing?

My Mom is only starting to make my dress this week! I'm hoping it all goes well And by early July I should have my whole outfit. Hopefully!

You are a lucky girl! I had my first fitting yesterday as well and since I somehow have an abnormally large ribcage and needed to buy a large dress to be able to zip all the way (I'm a size 4 jeans, yet had to buy a size 12 wedding dress). I'm glad that I started my alterations early because the dress had to be taken in all over(straps,bodice, waist, hips). 2 months from today for my wedding day, it's all getting to be very real!

I did my final fitting in April, but none of the BMs could be there so we will have to go back when they are in town so that they can help me get bustled.

I have my second fitting on June 28th, it may or not be a final fitting depending on how it goes!!
