Declined before the wedding invite

I sent my save the dates last weekend and someone already told me she's not attending to the wedding because she will be out of town. Do I still send her a wedding invitation ? What it's the protocol ?

Yes, you should still send it.  If her plans change, and you never sent her an invite, she kind of won't know if she's still invited or not, you know?  You could include a note saying you know she has other plans, but you sent the invite in case they change.

I also agree that you should send her an invite. We had someone do that same thing and we are still planning on sending him an invite. It is just a nice thing to do.

Plus, some people like having the invite as a keepsake.
