Help...Salsa Bands

Groom here...so my family is from Costa Rica and love to dance.  I'm really hoping to have a live salsa band but I'm having trouble finding one, in my budget 1500.  I definitly don't want a tejano sound...cuban, puerto rican, basically caribbean style salsa.  Have any of you come across a good 3-4 person salsa band.

    I don't know where you are located in the metroplex, but you may even want to try finding a small group of musicians from UNT.  There are SO many talented music students here, and there may even be some salsa bands that are already together.  I bet you could also bet a better price with students, too, and not scrimp at all on talent.
