Tasting today

Our venue had an open house tonight so we were finally able to taste some of he dishes. We had previously made some menu choices but ater the tasting we will likely be changing things up a bit. Not sure what this will do to the budget but there were definitely some tasty items we need to add.

I loved my tasting. I realize that a vendor can't make everything they offer for these events, but I was bit bummed that some things I would have tried were not offered at our event. On the flip side, I tried things that I wouldn't have thought about otherwise, so it balances out. 

Our venue had a chocolate fountain set up. It was awesome! Too expensive for us, but I would have loved to have it! Hopefully you can afford what you want!

Ours is coming up on May 3rd... we have tenative menu selections, but the tasting may change those!

We're not having an official tasting.. We have kind of been "tasting" throughout our relationship as our families are making the food for us!!  I'm excited because we get some of our favorite foods (without the huge cost per plate)!!!
