I never really keep track of all my checks on here but things have been getting super stressful lately so I'm just so relieved to get a few things out of the way.
FI and I FINALLY picked out our wedding bands!!! I am so in love with mine, and he is with his! He is still getting used to the fact that he will have to wear a ring 24/7. He never wears any jewelry! When he took the ring off, he kept feeling his finger as if it was still there! So cute! FI bought my engagement ring at a jewelry store in San Francisco where we are from (the same day that he secretly flew out and asked my parents while I was at work), but we now live in LA. He experienced such great service there that he refuses to go anywhere else! He has made the executive decision that this will be our jeweler for the rest of our lives! hahah!! The only problem is that they are only open during the week!!! We were finally able to figure out a Friday that we could both get off of work and I'm so relieved to check it off the list!
We've also narrowed down our invitations and are just in the process of finalizing the proofs, wording, etc. PHEW!!! We didn't want to go the traditional route with invitations, so I spent hours and hours on Etsy trying find something outside of the box!! I wanted to scream with happiness when FI and I finally agreed on one!
AND lastly, this isn't really a check but I had my first Bridal shower last weekend and it was a huge success!! Things are really sinking in now that this is so close and so real!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!
I still have a long way to go with the checks, but these just gave me a little bit of saving grace and I wanted to share!!
