Anyone use the Hilton Honor Points?

I know you can buy more points but say you want to book a room that cost 30,000 points but you only have 7,000...can you use the 7,000 and pay a difference? I didn't search too thoroughly on their website as people keep walking by my desk haha so just curious if anyone has done that or not.TIA!

I am almost certain that you have to pay for the total in points-- meaning that you would have to purchase the remaining 23,000 points, then book the room.
