So I think I found a cruise for DH and I to go on for our belated honeymoon, assuming DH isn't in jail school that month and can get off work.But I was just wondering:Has anyone taken a cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line? I've friends say that Norwegian is one of the nicer cruise lines.

Ditto Mandy.  I went on a Carnival cruise and really enjoyed it, but it was definitely more family-oriented.  But, I was 16 at the time and only hung out with my family.  It may have been entirely different for a couple.I hope you decide to book it, though!  It's a really great trip no matter what.

Yea, it's a really good deal and it's the first week in January, so neither of us would have started school, we just have to figure out if Steven can get off or not.We'll have to decide soon because we'll need to order passports.

The norwegian is nicer than carnival but I think that carnival has better food and more entertainment.... norwegian is more relaxing and quiter vs carnival

I've been to Cozumel,.....as well as Puerta Vallarta, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, and Acapulco. I never want to go back to Mexico again, lol. IMO, Cozumel is probably "nicest" place I have been to in Mexico and it is big on snorkling/scuba diving is that is your thing. I have heard that Belize is beautiful, several of my friends have gone there and they loved it. Guatamala sounds interesting, don't know much about it.

I'm a little late here, but I have been to Costa Maya, Cozumel & Belize on a cruise this past April... I've been to Cozumel before, but it was Chris' first time so we did a tour through Carnival with dune buggys and he loved it!Costa Maya was more of a chill port... we went into the city (like 5 mins taxi ride from the port) and did an open bar type thing with beach massages.Belize City we went to the Altun Ha Ruins. I've only been to Cozumel and I enjoyed it.  It felt a little more "touristy" than Playa Del Carmen, which was our other stop and I definitely prefered the beach at Playa.  My parents went to Belize once and loved it.  I really want to visit a few places on the west coast of Mexico.  FI is Mexican and his family visits Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta a lot.  It's really beautiful.
