I guess I should have waited for this post to post about my dress Oh well!Other AWs: send out save the dates, ordered invitations from cardsandpockets.com and I have my bridal portriats on Nov 14th.On another note, got the promotion to project manager, unfortunately it is with wal-mart.... fortunately there is another project manager to deal with them I just deal with formulations and the product!

Tomorrow, my parents will have been married 39 years.  I had a meeting yesterday with my principal and my department head about some issues between the dept. head and myself.  I handled myself well and didn't raise my voice or get upset.  She snapped at me several times.  I feel good about the outcome and am very proud for not lowering myself to that level.  Yay for being the grown up!

Beautiful pics!  You look like such a happy pregnant lady I don't have anything to AW this week.  I'm in a terrible mood leftover from last night.  Luckily, the dress and maternity AWs are starting to pick me up.

I've been waiting for this because I have a lot! Today I got to sleep in late because this afternoon we're having a library open house for all the little kids who take music lessons at Vanderbilt. I made cookies and I get to do story time! I can't wait to see all the kiddos in their costumes! This week we finally sent in the deposit for our venue, and we've been getting quotes from some caterers. That's my first wedding-related AW in months!Tomorrow I'm going home and I get to spend two days with FI after ten weeks apart! Plus I get to see all my friends and family for the first time in that long too! I get to celebrate my matron of honor's birthday with her and attend my mom's big Halloween bash. Plus I think FI may be spinning somewhere on Greenville on Saturday, it would be fun to see him DJ again. AND, tomorrow is exactly one year until our wedding!Sorry that was so long!

I've lost some more weight when I thought I for sure would have gained it all back due to my eating habits the last 2 months.  When we first got engaged one of the first comments FMIL made was that I was "going to get fatter" because of the wedding.  I get that stress can make you gain weight but I luckily have been doing the opposite.  So booyah FMIL.  Oh and it's not a crazy amount.

Stress does crazy things to your body, but everyon reacts differently. I do tend to gain weight when I'm stressed, but I have heard of people losing weight from stress. Plus, what a mean comment from your FMIL!

I would much rather hear those comments from my family where I can snap back at them than my BOSS. Ugh. I honestly don't see how he managed to get married.This morning he was "making the rounds" and I have ONE *mini* can of PEARS on my desk...unopened mind you...and his comment was "eating already? Oh to be young again and able to eat this early".Uhhh wtf is that supposed to mean? Besides the fact I am not even eating?? You are supposed to eat breakfast in the mornings as it jump starts your metabolism but whatever! You obviously don't know how to talk with the opposite gender. And I wish I could say something to you about it but that would not end well. I need to keep this job at least til I am going to the chiro less.

I just ordered my wedding night lingerie.  Now to pray that it fits.I'm having a mini-makeup trial with Kristin today.  I want to try a smoky eye and lighter blush and lipstick.  I'll post pics later if they are worthy.

I bought some sugar cane Dr. Pepper and definitely had one this morning with breakfast.  It was my reward for being halfway through the fitness boot camp!  Go me!One of my best friends is coming in today - I haven't seen her in a few months, and that's a really long time compared to how often we used to hang out.  I'm SO excited!We decided on invitations, and I ordered them from cardsandpockets.com.  Also, we finalized our menu, and we're meeting with the last of our officiants on Saturday.  Next week we're meeting with a couple of DJs, and one gave us an AMAZING price quote.  He has excellent reviews, so I'm really excited to meet him.So good to see all of the great AWs on the board this morning, congratulations ladies!

This isn't an AW, but all last night I dreamt about invitations. And they all had pockets. Some had really big pockets for really big cards, and there were some with teeny tiny pockets for miniature reply cards and mini envelopes. And I haven't even really started looking at invitations!

I am headed to school to get zombiefied and perform Thriller at 1220. So over this haha! (this is like the 4th year we have done Thriller...next year we are doing something different thankfully!)

Almost every day I think about calling in sick.  I always convince myself not to though, because it's inevitable that I will get sick sooner or later and no one will believe me if I'm sick again so soon after being "sick."

I got a new job...I am now sucked into OU's new student system to be the sole voice of the students and somehow try and get groups of people stuck in their ways to communicate with each other effectively. Yay?

We finally picked our photographer and will be sending the deposit tomorrow. We chose Katie Cassidy Photography. Has anyone used her or know of someone who has? I know it's a little late to ask, but I hadn't had time to ask before we met her. She was the only photographer that I felt like we both connected with and her prices were reasonable. Hopefully, it all works out!

I haven't heard of her, but her work looks pretty good. The second bride down on her blog has my dress! This is ultra exciting for me, because I have not been able to find ONE picture of my dress online

I haven't either, Marissa!  I don't know why I'm so concerned because I've got pictures of myself in my dress, but I'm dying to see it on someone else (particularly, a model on whom the dress properly fits).  The sample was a full size too small for me. Anyway, I know how you feel!

My Aw: I made cookies for Jayden's halloween party tomorrw.. and they turned out BETTER than last time HAHAHA I'm horrible at the cookies made with cookie cutters. They always get HUGE! This time- MUCH BETTER! Oh and the best part... Jayden said "Mommy your the best mommy ever, and a great cookie cutter!" HAHA

Congrats, all! I'm traveling for work so I haven't been following much, but I've been saving this since the weekend. For my birthday, Jordan dug up the silver rings we wore before we got engaged/married, and he had a jeweler link them together. Cute, simple and symbolic. And since I was going to be flying on my birthday, he also got me a birthday coloring book and glitter crayons. I love cute, silly things like that!
