What is the $$ price range for wedding cakes?

If you know the price scale for the other categories please list them too.

It depends on where you live. In my neck of the woods prices range between $3.15-$4.50/slice. I imagine in larger cities the price would be higher. You will have to do an Internet search for bakeries in your area. Some might have their prices posted on-line.
  • im getting married at an all inclusive place so our cake amt. was allocated by 1.75$ a slice per person. foundant would make it 2.75 a slice
  • I think most places run $3-5 range pp.

    I'm at the $4 range

You'll never be subject to a cash bar, gap, potluck wedding, or b-list if you marry a Muppet Overlord.
  • $2.50-$7 here in Kansas City

Im doing a three tiered cake for 80 people for $3.00 (buttercream)
    Cupcakes $1
Petit four cheese cakes $15 for 3 doz (2-3 a person)

    I can feed about 200 for $360

So you can still have the cake and save money! Just an idea
  • In our area its 2.25-3.50 range. Ours is 3.50 because it's fondant
